I charged it and later went to test it and it wouldn't power on. The battery is inside. So it must be a bad battery that needs replacing. The cover is a bit stiff to remove. The condition otherwise looks like new (or near mint). The screen is in surprisingly good condition, like it has been barely used. Comes with case and official charger.
