If you*re a fan of shamelessly saucy TV comedy at Its best, then On The Buses is just the ticket!

Jump on Bus 11 to the Cemetery Gates and meet driver Stan Butler (Reg Varney ) and his constantly randy conductor Jack (Bob Grant ). As far as Stan and Jack are concerned, they're always on the job and there's always room for one more on top - especially if that happens to he one of the gorgeous clippies' that the Luxton and District Traction Company seems to attract to their depot!

In fact there are so many distractions In Stan and Jacks' lives that it's a miracle they ever get their bus out of the garage! No wonder Inspector 'Blakey' Blake hates them and is Forever threatening, "I'il get you for this, Butler! "

Stan needs to keep his job though, because he's the breadwinner for his entire family -including his dotty mum (Cicely Courtneidge), bone idle brother-in-law Arthur (Michael Bobbins) and lifeless dollop of a sister Olive (Anna Karen ).

On the Buses was created by Ronald Wolfe and Ronald Chesney, who were responsible for the smash hit BBC comedies The Rag Trade and Meet The Wife.

This DVD collection features all seven episode from the First Series of On The Buses, first broadcast between 28fh February and 12th April 1969.
