DVD Region Codes Explained:

0 = All region codes are set (worldwide compatibility)

1 = USA and Canada (not Mexico or Greenland)

2 = Western Europe (UK, France, Belgium, the Netherlands, Ireland etc), the Middle East, South Africa and Japan

3 = Southeast Asia

4 = Central & South America and Oceania 

ALL = These region discs have all 1-8 flags set, allowing the disc to be played in any location, on any player

Some DVD players are compatible with all regions by default. Luckily, many DVD players allow users to adjust the regional settings for specific regional playback - please refer to your user manual or check online.
