Brown explores the motivation and desire of such people, generally young men, to engage in the ever-dangerous act of racing. Brown himself is an enthusiast of the sport, as is the celebrated Steve McQueen who is along for the ride. High-stakes motorcycle racing events from around the world are also featured, including such extreme forms as ice racing in Quebec, Canada and a six day cross-country trial in Spain.
