Triple bill of weepies. In 'Kramer vs Kramer', Ted Kramer (Dustin Hoffman) is an art director for an ad agency whose wife (Meryl Streep) walks out on him, leaving Ted to care for their son. The additional strain causes Ted to lose his job, although he gradually creates a strong relationship with his boy. When his wife re-appears, demanding custody of the child, Ted decides to fight and is forced to hire an expensive attorney. In 'Born Free - A New Adventure', based on charcaters from the books by Joy Adamson, teenagers Rand and Jena Thompson reluctantly move from Chicago to Africa with their scientist father, only to discover orphaned cub Elsa. Elsa has been raised by Ellie Porter and her daughter Val, but now faces life in a zoo. Rand and Val set about reviving Elsa's natural instincts for survival.
